Getting started
01What's the difference between Vendor and Buyer?
Vendor: company that sells commodities on GTradX. Posts offers, responds to RFQs from buyers, negotiates deals. Vendor accounts pass through verification levels (L1 Verified, L2 Silver, L3 Gold) which build trust with buyers.
Buyer: company that purchases commodities. Posts RFQs (requests for quote), browses vendor offers, starts deal negotiations. Buyers can become Verified Buyers (VB) after document verification.
You can have both Vendor AND Buyer accounts for the same company — perfect if you trade in both directions.
02Why do you need my VAT?
GTradX is a B2B-only platform — we work exclusively with registered companies. VAT/Tax ID is required to:

Yes, absolutely. GTradX supports dual-role companies — many of our users operate both as vendors and buyers. To set this up:
1. Register your first account (e.g., Vendor) with your company VAT and email A
2. Register your second account (e.g., Buyer) with the same company VAT but a different email (e.g., email B)
Our system will automatically detect that both accounts belong to the same legal entity through VAT matching. They remain separate accounts with independent plans, verifications, and billing — but our admin team will see them as one company.
Why two accounts? Because vendor and buyer flows are different (offer creation vs RFQ posting, verification paths, plan structures) — keeping them separate gives you cleaner workflows.
06Why do you need my full company legal name?
We need the complete legal name as it appears in your country's business registry (KRS in Poland, Companies House in UK, Handelsregister in Germany, etc.) — not your trading name or short brand.
