GTradX Compliance Policy. Main business risks for 2026

Sintesi
It is now widely recognized that risk identification, continuous analysis, and risk management are essential elements of effective corporate governance. Technological, demographic, and geopolitical transformations present the business environment with unprecedented challenges. Companies equipped with financial and non-financial resources that allow for investments in growth and long-term security undeniably gain a competitive advantage over entities lacking such means. This market imbalance is not a new phenomenon, yet it consistently remains a significant challenge for management teams.

1. Growth opportunities vs. compliance challenges.

According to the Allianz Risk Barometer report (Identifying the major business risks for 2026), the top three global threats to businesses in 2026 are:

As risks become increasingly complex and interconnected, integrated resilience strategies can help mitigate their impacts. Enterprises must now adopt a forward-looking approach to risk management, including dynamic horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and rigorous stress testing. An integrated resilience strategy can also help avoid unintended consequences when adapting operations and supply chains to geopolitical risks and sustainability challenges.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can support companies in adapting to the evolving risk landscape. In the survey cited in this report, 1,084 respondents were asked how they perceive the impact of AI on their industry:

In the survey, respondents point to three main categories of risk associated with artificial intelligence:

  • Operational risks: business continuity interruptions, system failures or mismatches, and cascading errors in automated workflows.
  • Legal and compliance risks: breaches of emerging regulations, civil liability for the harmful effects of AI actions, and sanctions resulting from evolving governance frameworks.
  • Reputational risks: brand damage related to disinformation, unethical use of AI, data leaks, or biased decisions affecting customers or employees.

Global trade and supply chains are currently being reshaped in a world divided by geopolitics, protectionism, and the impacts of climate change. According to Allianz Trade data, in the last year alone, the number of trade restrictions tripled, covering goods with an estimated value of $2.7 trillion – representing nearly 20% of global imports – driving trends such as friendshoring (relocating production to allied countries) and regionalization.

Respondents were asked how their companies are reacting to changing trade and investment patterns, and what impact fluctuating tariffs have on the global supply chain.

2. GTradX’s response to global challenges: Integrated Security Policy

The complexity of modern geopolitical and technological risks requires trading platforms to adopt a proactive approach to transaction security. In an environment of growing trade restrictions and evolving legal, reputational, and operational threats, passive observation is no longer sufficient. To support our clients in building integrated resilience strategies, GTradX has implemented a rigorous Compliance Policy.

  • Protection against sanctions and geopolitical risk: In response to the transformation of global supply chains and growing protectionism, GTradX applies advanced Know Your Business (KYB) procedures.
  • Targeted verification: Especially at the highest verification tier (Level III), the platform identifies Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and verifies capital or personal links with entities subject to international sanctions, including those imposed by the UN, EU, US, and UK.
  • Minimization of technological and operational risks: To counteract fraud, system errors, and threats amplified by new technologies such as AI, GTradX relies on strict identity and authorization verification (KYC).
  • Authentication standards: The requirement for a qualified electronic signature, trusted profile, or video verification ensures that only verified and authorized individuals act on behalf of registered entities.

Thanks to such a robust verification architecture, GTradX provides a trusted and stable trading environment that guarantees the platform’s integrity. The following sections detail our multi-stage verification procedures for both Sellers and Buyers.

3. Building Trust in B2B: How the Compliance Policy works on the GTradX platform

We know that in times of complex supply chains and growing risks, trust cannot rely on intuition. It must be backed by hard data and procedures. At GTradX, we know that transaction security is the foundation of safe trade.

Therefore, our Compliance Policy is not just another set of regulations – it is a carefully designed verification process that protects the interests of both Buyers and Sellers. We utilize international Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) standards so you always know who you are doing business with.

Here is how we verify our users in practice, building the safest space for B2B trade.

Three Levels of Seller Verification

To ensure the reliability of offers, every Seller on GTradX undergoes a rigorous authentication process. Depending on the depth of verification, we assign appropriate statuses (valid for 12 months):

Level I (L1 / Blue Badge) – Confirmation of doing business. We check whether the company actually exists and conducts registered business operations. We verify:

  • Entries in the National Court Register (KRS) / Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) (or foreign equivalents).
  • NIP/VAT ID and EORI numbers (if applicable).
  • Consistency of addresses and contact details.

Level II (L2 / Silver Badge)Certainty of Representation (KYC). Who is physically submitting the offer on behalf of the company and who represents it. This stage is a guarantee that the person on the other side of the screen is acting with genuine legal and corporate authorization. At this stage, we require:

  • Documents confirming the right to represent the entity (e.g., powers of attorney).
  • Qualified signatures, trusted profiles, or notarized certifications.
  • Authorized email addresses (in the company or corporate group domain).

In doubtful situations, our team verifies documents at the source, e.g., through direct contact or video verification.

Level III (L3 / Gold Badge) – Certified, Trusted Seller (Advanced KYB). The highest market standard. We deeply analyze additional data and information, minimizing economic risk for the Buyer. We analyze, among others:

  • Central Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO).
  • Capital and personal ties regarding international sanctions lists (UN, EU, US, UK). We strictly verify that the goods do not originate from entities subject to restrictions (e.g., from Russia or Belarus).
  • Valid licenses, references, and industry certificates.

The GTradX Verification Team constantly monitors the situation and reserves the right to revoke the status if there are business or legal grounds to do so.

Two-Stage Buyer Verification

Security goes both ways. Sellers on GTradX must be certain that their offers are reaching real, verified business entities.

Stage I: BUYER FREE (Initial KYB identification). This is a free, basic plan based on NIP/VAT ID and registry data verification. It provides the ability to browse the marketplace and send inquiries to unverified entities; however, at this stage, the Buyer cannot send inquiries to verified Sellers (levels L1, L2, L3).

Stage II: BUYER PRO (Status: VERIFIED BUYER / Silver Badge). Grants full access to the GTradX ecosystem. To obtain it, the Buyer undergoes full KYB and KYC verification (analogous to Sellers):

  • We authenticate corporate entities through official government databases and commercial registers relevant to their jurisdiction.
  • We analyze powers of attorney and the rights to legally represent the entity.

Upon positive verification (valid for 12 months), the User receives the prestigious VERIFIED BUYER status, which clearly distinguishes them on the GTradX platform. The visible verification badge is the foundation of trust – it gives Sellers absolute certainty that they are negotiating with a reliable and vetted business partner. Furthermore, Requests for Quotation (RFQs) published by a verified Buyer are specially marked and promoted on our marketplace, which significantly increases their global reach and impact. Such a status is an ideal tool for building a strong, international network of business contacts based on mutual credibility.

4. Certificate of Verification

Verified GTradX users receive a Certificate of Verification – an electronic document with a QR code that they can present to their business partners at any time as proof of credibility and business reliability.

Pulse media

  • In an era of growing disinformation and threats related to the unethical use of AI, the GTradX Certificate of Verification becomes a digital proof of security. It allows for immediate differentiation of reliable partners from high-risk entities, which directly mitigates operational and reputational risks.

Note: The attached Certificate template (from GTradX Test Sp. z o.o.) is a deliberate measure, serving as a presentation of the verification system, where the data visible on the Certificate and screenshots are test data, so as not to present real counterparty data, protecting their anonymity in accordance with GTradX regulations.

Having a certificate with a QR code drastically reduces the time needed for mutual counterparty verification (KYB). Instead of a multi-day exchange of documents, your partner receives immediate confirmation of your credibility, allowing you to react faster to market opportunities and more efficiently diversify supply chains.

At the core of this feature is the public GTradX Trust Center. Scanning the QR code instantly directs any potential partner—without requiring platform registration—to an isolated, real-time validation dashboard. This system serves as an absolute „Single Source of Truth.” To completely eliminate the risk of forged or outdated PDFs, a certificate remains valid only if two strict conditions are met simultaneously: the company must hold a successfully passed compliance verification and maintain an active GTradX subscription. Should either condition lapse, the public status immediately updates to SUSPENDED or INVALID, ensuring uncompromising data integrity.

Pulse media

This tamper-proof environment transforms your compliance into a powerful marketing asset—a true global business card. You can proudly embed the certificate and QR code on your website, in email signatures, commercial offers, or at trade show booths to instantly signal transparency. When international partners request extensive documentation to confirm your credibility, simply sharing your Trust Center link provides undeniable, third-party proof that your status is continuously monitored. It not only accelerates negotiations but clearly demonstrates to the market that you operate by the highest global standards.

5. Conclusions

Regardless of the size, type, and location of business operations, the top risks remain the same. According to the Allianz Risk Barometer, smaller companies (< US$100mn in annual revenue) also perceive cybercrime as a key threat, and artificial intelligence as both a significant risk and an opportunity for accelerated development and greater flexibility provided by AI.

While companies of different sizes face similar challenges today, their ability to cope with transformational trends and complex risks, such as AI and geopolitics, differs significantly.

An example is the area of cybersecurity, where artificial intelligence allows cybercriminals to increasingly target small and medium-sized enterprises, which are typically more vulnerable to attacks and susceptible to extortion. Unlike large corporations, smaller companies, due to investment constraints, are more exposed to unfair practices and economic risk. Their access to talent in IT or analytics is also lower due to less competitiveness in R&D or benefits and compensation.

There is no doubt that well-thought-out procedures, systematically analyzed and adapted to changing conditions, are one of the elements of mitigating all kinds of risks, whether at the micro or macro level.

I cannot imagine a situation where commercial transactions between counterparties are not subject to prior verification, safeguards, or insurance. All this strengthens the resilience of the companies we manage.

GTradX gives companies the tools so they can build their resilience on the foundation of data.
