Grupa Azoty S.A. returns to taking current nitrogen fertilizer orders.

On March 5, 2026, the President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., Mr. Marcin Celejewski, announced that: “Grupa Azoty S.A. is resuming the acceptance of current orders for nitrogen fertilizers. Within the next several dozen hours, upon completion of the necessary analyses, Grupa Azoty will return to accepting orders for nitrogen fertilizers and to standard cooperation under current market conditions. In this decision, we must take into account the interests of both agricultural entrepreneurs and our trade partners, as well as the interests of the Company itself. The actions we are taking are a deliberate business response to an extraordinary market situation. Their goal is to maintain supply stability and actively protect the market and Polish farmers against excessive fluctuations in fertilizer prices. At the same time, we emphasize that fertilizer production is ongoing, utilizing maximum production capacities. The quantity of available fertilizers and the stocks held in the warehouses of the authorized distribution network are sufficient to secure both the current and future needs of agricultural entrepreneurs. Grupa Azoty has always been and will remain one of the pillars of Poland’s food security and a strategic partner of Polish agriculture. Our responsibility is not only the production of fertilizers but also the stable management of their availability under conditions of high volatility in the fertilizer and raw materials markets – in particular natural gas, which remains the primary cost of fertilizer production.”
