In exchange, the European Union is seeking streamlined access to Australia’s critical minerals and lower tariffs on manufactured goods. According to unofficial reports from Bloomberg, negotiations have entered the „final stretch,” and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen could arrive in Australia as early as this weekend to finalize the agreement.
